All stainless steel AISI 304 construction (except cart) with red and yellow bands. Less than 10 Ohms of resistivity. This unit is equipped with MIddle Ring with Activated Carbon (MRAC) cartridge for the adsorption of toxic/nuisance fumes and vapors. An optional true HEPA Filter (H14) is also available. Different types of carbon are available. This fuel and solvent recovery vacuum cleaner is specifically designed for the recovery of highly flammable, toxic liquids. This vacuum cleaner system is ideal for the de-fueling and de-puddling of fuel tanks and wings on military or civilian airplanes, as well as for recovering fuel spills. All parts of the vacuum cleaner system has electrical continuity and bonding techniques to ensure static dissipation. Grounding reels are also available for added security. This unit is equipped with a heavy duty powder coated Hydraulic Cart for easy emptying of recovered materials. The heavy duty powder coated Hydraulic Cart allows for the unit to be lifted up to 36" (91 cm) above the ground so that contents can be emptied into a recovery container for disposal.
HEPA - High Efficiency Particulate Air Filter
A HEPA filter is a type of air filter, which means it filters the air coming in or out of the vacuum cleaner system. It can remove at least 99.995% of dust, pollen, mould, bacteria and any other airborn particles with a size of 0.3 microns or larger.
Tested: IEST RP-CC001.3. H14 by MPPS method as per EN 1822.

MRAC - Middle Ring with Activated Carbon
Activated carbon is used for the adsorption of toxic/nuisance fumes and vapors. Tiger-Vac offers a variety of activated carbons for the recovery of fuels, mercury, chloride and acid vapors and for Arsine and Phosphine.
10 Ohms - Explosion Proof Requirement
In order for Tiger-Vac to legally certify an Explosion Proof/Dust Ignition Proof vacuum cleaner system the unit must be static dissipative (SD*) and conductive and have a resistivity measuring less than 10 Ohms from the grounded air supply hose to any point on the vacuum cleaner system. This makes the unit eligible to be Explosion Proof/Dust Ignition Proof and be part of Tiger-Vac's quality control management system ISO 9001:2000.
When using a pneumatic Explosion Proof Vacuum Cleaner System the customer must make sure that the source of air supply (compressor) is grounded.
